End Of Level 1

So, that’s it! The first year of Audio Production is over. Today we had a showcase session for the Electronic Music Production module when students had the opportunity to hear each other’s work and exchange thoughts and ideas. The range of work was incredibly varied – some chose to work on stand-alone music tracks, others created sound designs for games, one group made a gameshow theme tune. There are too many to post here; you can hear a selection below. For this assessment the students were given support in the construction of their pieces but the creative/content input was left entirely for them to work out in their small groups. The year has flown by and, for these students, all there remains of level one is to wait for their assessment grades. Next up is preparation for level two in September, oh, and a summer break, of course.
